A philosopher once asked: “Is a lover an objective good, or is she/he an amalgamation of objective goods, and services.” I’ve learned to challenge myself to think about every single line item (good or service) I’d need or desire from a significant other, and found that without fail, I can obtain at better value and lower fiscal and emotional cost. I’m open to learn about what I may be missing by being “single.” I think this is an effective gender agnostic strategy.
