Hi Sam,
The title of your article raises an important question that many people ask, including objective blacks. It’s very important that you understand the mission of the BLM movement: “whose mission is to eradicate white supremacy and build local power to intervene in violence inflicted on Black communities by the state and vigilantes.” Its mission is not to intervene in black on black violence.
You also ask “why aren’t Black people now doing more…?” What’s the factual basis for this question? Do you have statistical evidence you can share to support your premise?
Lastly, you imply that blacks may be subject to proportionally more arrests than whites, simply because they commit more crimes. I have seen some statistics that blacks are more likely to commit violent crimes, and that does concern me. It’s just very difficult to get objective data in this politically sensitive environment we live in.
I hope you’re keeping safe, and sane.
