I don’t think I proposed that pleasure is inherently bad. The question really is when or how is pleasure instrumental to realizing a rational goal. Similarly, i totally agree that natural inclinations are not inherently ‘bad’. Hedonism however, in my opinion IS bad not because of the pursuit of pleasure, but because pleasure is the ultimate goal. It is for this reason i prefer to distinguish between natural law which is inherently hedonistic, vs rational law whereby the standard for the good is rationality.
