I honestly don’t think so. Unfortunately modern western relationships tend to think about commitment exclusively in terms of sexual exclusivity. There are many other commitments to “acts of services”, whether of emotional or fiscal value. It reads like there was a breach of contract long before you engaged in extra marital intimacy.
