I read that a key objective for the show was to imagine what Regency England would have looked like, if Queen Charlotte had used her power to elevate other people of color in society and granted them titles and lands? Concerning diversity, how would Rhonda have weaved major Asian characters into the show without the historical ancestral relevance?

On the wider question of diversity, I don’t know the answer to this, but do Asian American filmmakers (regardless of how few they are), tend to proportionally cast blacks?
