I think there are two issues here. Should you blame women for being assaulted? No. Should we judge women for behaving as instruments of sexuality? No. The above questions deal with morality. Now let’s ask what’s rational. Well, it depends. Apparently, 1 out of 7 men are rapists, so perhaps it’s not unsafe to wear very little clothing during the day in a crowded space, but is it rational to walk alone in a crowd less alley at night?

If I got mugged walking alone, for wearing a Rolex watch and a diamond necklace, in an area known for high crime: my actions aren’t immoral but perhaps they’re irrational?
