This in my opinion is SOLID philosophy, psychology AND affective neuroscience

“I’d rather have loyalty than love
’Cause love really don’t mean jack (Straight up)
See love is just a feeling
You can love somebody and still stab them in the back (Oh God)
It don’t take much to love
You can love somebody just by being attached (21)
See loyalty is a action
You can love or hate me and still have my back (Facts).”

Author 21 Savage from his song Ball W/O You.

Neuroscientist Lisa Feldman Barrett wrote the ground breaking book “How Emotions are Made.” It basically destroys the notion that emotions are natural kinds, and that they have any objective psychological meaning. This has profound implications for mission critical emotions such as love, happiness and loneliness. Emotions are social constructs and it is time for us to challenge the meaning and significance that we have adopt.

What’s Love but a second hand emotion?

Tina Turner

What are your thoughts? Do you think love is objectively real, or do you agree that it is just a subjective and social construct?
