Thank you for responding dear eric miller. I don’t see loyalty as an emotion. I see it really as an intentional act of service. Actions are objectively measurable while IMO love is useless to the object of affection if it does not manifest as valuable. I would go as far as to say that if love doesn’t translate into a good or service, then it’s just emotional masturbation.
