This is an extremely slippery slope…scientists claim that a person’s faculty of reason can be impaired when in a state of love, to the extent of “temporary insanity.” A man can be cognitively impaired just by viewing a woman’s breasts. It’s an established fact of affective neuroscience that a person’s cognition can be hijacked by emotion.

A person, male or female has to be considered to have full agency and volitional autonomy as long as there’s no coercion.
